Interactive Advertising for the Millennium
Revolutionary CD is changing the delivery of ad information

copyklatsch.jpg (8306 bytes)When you think of putting together an advertising campaign, what comes to your mind first? How can I make my design stand out above the rest? Where can I find a good photo? What's my message? If all of this sounds too familiar, then maybe you are still planning your campaign the "old way." But ABC Seamless has created a new interactive CD that is changing the way advertising will be done for the next millennium.

This first of its kind Advertising CD is changing the way business owners will deliver their advertising information to media sales representatives. Advertising the "old way" using black and white ad slicks is time consuming and doesn't portray a professional image.

Scott Seiler, advertising/marketing director for ABC Seamless says, "I'm sure many have said, 'just run the same ads we ran last year,' simply because they didn't have the time or the know-how to create new ones." Instead of doing this the same old way, how would you like to hand your representative a CD that contains ready to use newspaper ads, television commercials and radio commercials?

Now it is possible to have advertising and marketing materials at the business owner's fingertips. This new technology allows the business owner to use high-quality photos and professionally written scripts instead of clip art and filler lines for text.

Currently, ABC Seamless franchises are the only ones using this technology, but soon other businesses will be taking the leap. With a click of their mouse button, they can view newspaper ads, listen to radio spots and watch up-to- date television spots. Also, as the years go by, they will be able to have a library of each year's advertising information stored on a shelf.

Steve Knudson, general manager of ABC Seamless in St. Cloud, Minn., found out just how hassle-free this concept really is. He says, "We needed to get an ad in an area newspaper the next day, but didn't have the time because their office was more than an hour away." Knudson continues, "I called the newspaper editor and asked if I could e-mail the ad to them. The simple use of a high-quality ad on CD saved my company the time and trouble of getting the information to the newspaper. I was able to meet the deadline and without any headaches."

Another advantage is that the business owner won't have to pay a graphic artist to do the layout of their ads or a production crew to produce their television and radio spots. The CD is pre-produced and ready for use. It also contains higher quality photos and is produced specifically for the business owner's company and its advertising needs.

Seiler says, "We are changing the way advertising will be done for the next century." He adds, "By creating and distributing this Advertising CD to our franchise owners, we are pushing the boundaries of technology."

The benefits are tremendous. The CD is compact, easy to navigate through and cost effective. Being so compact, the business owner can even take it home to plan their advertising strategies. Plus, it takes the planning, design, thought process and time out of an owner's busy schedule. The work is done, leaving you more time to manage the business.
