Kentucky Transportation The location of your business and warehouse facilities is a key to success. The parts and supplies you need to make your product must be easily accessible, and you must be able to easily distribute your product once it's made. Kentucky's infrastructure provides that vital key to your business success. National and international companies including U.P.S., Ford, General Motors, and Toyota Motor Manufacturing have recognized Kentucky's excellent transportation system and have located significant manufacturing and distribution facilities within the Commonwealth. Airports in Louisville, Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati, and Lexington offer hundreds of daily direct flights for passengers and freight to an almost unlimited number of regional, national and international destinations. Several major interstates such as I-24, I-64 and I-75, as well as Parkways and Highways serve Kentucky. The proposed transcontinental I-66 would dissect the Commonwealth on an east-west line making Kentucky even more accessible than it already is. In fact, it's possible to reach the majority of the U.S. in a day's drive. All of these contribute to Kentucky's accessibility and versatility in transportation. Web Links Kentucky
