Centre College, known for its outstanding academic program and the career success of graduates, uses rigorous academic standards and one-to-one teacher/student interaction to help its students reach their academic goals. Centre is also known for having one of the nations top international programs. Centre sponsors campuses in Ecuador, England, France and Mexico, allowing students to study for a semester at the same price as staying on campus. The college also offers shorter foreign-study opportunities so that its students can earn academic credit virtually anywhere in the world. Tuition for an in-state resident is $16,050 a year.
Central
Kentucky Technical College Since 1939, Central Kentucky Technical College (CKTC) has been providing premier career training to the citizens of the Bluegrass region. CKTC offers students comprehensive, innovative programs in business, health and human service and manufacturing technology. CKTC, a member of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, also serves the community by providing short-term customized training programs to local businesses and industries and by providing highly skilled graduates for the workforce. CKTC offers individualized instruction, dedicated faculty, career assessment services, financial aid and counseling services, adult education and/or GED services, high job placement rates and low tuition all within a small college setting. Tuition ranges from $330-$400 a semester depending on the program in which you enroll.
In its 110th year of operation, Cumberland College is one of the largest private colleges in Kentucky and is situated in one of the most charming parts of the Commonwealth. Having long been known for its outstanding academic programs, Cumberland College offers four undergraduate degrees in 37 major fields of study, 30 minors and nine pre-professional programs. Several students further their education in medical or law school each year. Tuition presently stands at $9,480; after room and board it is $13,565. However, over 90 percent of Cumberlands student body receives some sort of financial assistance in the form of scholarships, grants, loans and workstudy opportunities.
EKU offers more than 140 academic degree programs, many nationally prominent, and retains a personal touch that emphasizes excellence in teaching and mentoring. At EKU, the emphasis is on developing the total person through more than 200 student organizations and exciting extracurricular events and activities. EKU has forged numerous partnerships across the Commonwealth to help meet the educational needs of Kentuckians more efficiently and effectively.
HCC offers programs for clinical laboratory technicians, radiography, nursing, physical therapy, forest and wood technology, early childhood education, human services and Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees. HCC is a unit of the University of Kentucky Community College System and a member of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS).
